T-Mobile is sending invitations to select T-Mobile customers to participate in the Phoenix Internet Trial. To sign up for the trial, participants must:
Absolutely! Trial participants will get to try out this new equipment at no cost. Plus, T-Mobile will cover the cost of their existing T-Mobile Voice and Home Internet (if applicable) service charges during the trial period. As a special thank you, if participants remain active until the trial concludes in May 2025, they’ll receive a $500 virtual prepaid Mastercard by email before June 16th. The trial has now been extended through July 31, 2025, and you can continue using the service for free beyond May - this doesn't affect your eligibility for the prepaid card.
We’re always looking for ways to enhance the Internet experience for customers. The new indoor Wi-Fi gateway and outdoor antenna could deliver faster Wi-Fi speeds and improved performance to trial participants.
A T-Mobile authorized installer from Asurion will help install the new equipment.
The outdoor antenna will be mounted to the outside of the home or business, which requires drilling a few small holes to secure the antenna, and running a cable to where the indoor gateway is setup.
Yes, trial participants can schedule an appointment to have the outdoor antenna uninstalled at any time if they choose to leave the trial early, or after the extended trial ends on July 31, 2025.
The mounting hardware is a small, compact bracket designed to securely hold the external antenna in place.
Centercode is a platform that helps manage user trials. It's also where customers can access their T-Mobile Trial account. It allows customers to learn more about the trial, access support materials, and provide feedback directly to T-Mobile.
Asurion is a T-Mobile Authorized Installer responsible for installing and uninstalling the trial equipment.
Yes, participants who received an invitation from T-Mobile are still eligible for the trial if they have an HOA. Participants are responsible for getting any necessary HOA approvals before the trial equipment is installed.
The external antenna should not be moved after it’s installed. The indoor gateway can be moved however, it is recommended to keep it at the original setup location to ensure participants receive the best possible internet experience.
During the trial, participants are asked to use the trial equipment as their primary internet service. They can keep their current internet gateway unplugged and stored safely throughout the trial.
When participants leave the trial - either early or after the extended end date of July 31, 2025 - they can reconnect their original gateway to resume their regular Home Internet service.
We understand that circumstances may change. If participants need to withdraw from the trial early, simply call (833) 421-4420 if you are a residential home internet customer, or (833) 354-4499 if you are a business customer.
Trial participants will receive periodic surveys during the trial through this website, Centercode, on things like their installation experience and how their internet and the equipment are performing.
Privacy is important to us, and we won’t track or store any information about trial participants’ personal internet usage or browsing history. Participants need to provide their name, phone number, email address and home or business address to schedule the equipment install. During the trial, the network team will monitor the internet and collect data performance metrics like data speeds and latency to measure how the trial equipment is performing.
